Hi, I’m Erica and I am SOOOOOO Unemployed

I'm 27, moved to London 3 years ago and back when I was unemployed a year ago, I used to joke I was, "sooooo unemployed," and so when I had this idea for this club, after a few drinks on the day that I was fired this past month, I knew I had to call it that!

I have worked in marketing and social media for the past... way too long. I used to be a full-time content creator as well, and I have done freelance content creation for real estate and interior design clients in London. I also previously worked at an influencer/media agency so I have lots of fun connections to brands, PR agencies, and the like across London!

I have been blown away by the support this club has already gathered after such a short period of time and have already hosted three events bringing together people across a diverse set of industries, age groups, life experience, ethnic background, career aspirations, and life stages!

I truly believe that being unemployed is not the end of the world and nothing to be ashamed of, we are a demographic of people that are untapped talent waiting to find our next challenge.

At So Unemployed, you never know who you will meet and where you might need these connections in the future. I can’t wait to see where this journey takes us all but for now, we can all be So Unemployed together.
